It is distinguished according to the gas evolved from the anode in the electrochemical reaction, and the chlorine evolution anode is called the chlorine evolution anode, which is the Ruthenium coated titanium anode.


Ruthenium coated titanium anode is generally used in environments with high chloride ions in the electrolyte, such as in the environment of hydrochloric acid electrolysis, seawater electrolysis, and saltwater electrolysis.

Application

It is widely used in chlor-alkali industry, diaphragm production of caustic soda, chlorate industry, electrolysis to produce chlorine dioxide, acidic water electrolysis, electrolysis of seawater to produce chlorine, and power plant circulating water sterilization.




Brief introduction to the production process of Ruthenium coated titanium anode


1. Choose Gr1 type titanium substrate to make sure that the surface of the board is smooth and smooth, without deep scratches and defects.


2. Perform mechanical processing on the selected titanium substrate and process it to the specifications and dimensions required by the customer.


3. Anneal and level the titanium substrate at a temperature> 500°C. (To eliminate stress and ensure flatness.)


4. During annealing and leveling treatment, a dense titanium oxide layer will be formed on the surface of the titanium substrate, which can be polished mechanically or artificially to make the surface present the metallic luster of titanium.


5. Use 10% concentration of oxalic acid to pickle and etch the titanium substrate, and perform it in a slightly boiling state for several hours to etch the surface oxide layer to the surface of titanium hydride.


6. Reasonable qualitative and quantitative configuration of the precious metal solution according to the anode environment used by the customer.


7. Check that the acid-washed titanium substrate is qualified, that is, the surface layer is gray and uniform pitted surface structure, and then the shoe is manually coated, and sintered according to the set appropriate temperature. After sintering, it is naturally cooled, and the second coating is performed when it is cooled to room temperature. Shoe, and so on, until the configuration solution is applied more than 17 to 20 times.


8. After the sintering of the above processed parts is completed, the life test will be carried out with the furnace test piece, and the qualified packaging will be shipped.
