Plano-Concave (PCV) lenses are optical components commonly used to diverge light in various optical systems, such as beam expansion, beam shaping, and laser projection applications, due to their negative focal length. These lenses have a concave surface and a flat surface, making them suitable for applications that require divergence of incoming light.


PCV lenses are widely utilized in a range of industries, including automotive, telecommunications, and entertainment, and can be found in laser printers, barcode scanners, and digital projectors.


At Visopto, we offer a diverse range of PCV lenses, each with different coatings and substrates to meet the specific requirements of different applications. Our anti-reflection coatings are available in a broad range of wavelengths, spanning from UV, visible, to infrared. We also provide specialized coatings that cater to laser applications, such as 1064 nm, 532 nm, and 355 nm. In addition, we offer different substrates, such as BK7, fused silica, and sapphire, for use in varying applications. Our PCV lenses feature high surface accuracy, measuring less than 0.2 fringe at 633nm, and finishes of 20-10 scratch-dig per MIL-PRF 13830. We also offer sizes up to 200mm diameter.
